Fitmint now supports integration with Apple Health, offering iOS users a seamless way to track and sync their physical activity. This feature enables the use of third-party apps or smartwatches to monitor walks or runs, with all data automatically updating in the Fitmint app.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Ensure Compatibility
Make sure you’re using an iOS device, as this feature is exclusive to Apple users.
2. Third-Party Apps and Devices
Use your preferred third-party app or smartwatch to track your activities. These will automatically sync with Apple Health if the respective app supports this feature.
3. Apple Health Synchronization
After completing an activity, the data should automatically sync to Apple Health. Make sure your activity data is updated here before it reflects on Fitmint.
4. Fitmint Integration
Your activity data, once synced with Apple Health, will automatically update your progress levels and challenges on Fitmint.
Important Notes
Same Day Sync: Ensure that your activity data is synced on the same day of the activity. Late synchronizations will not be counted towards your Fitmint levels and challenges.
Manual Entries: Activities entered manually into Apple Health will not be synced to the Fitmint app.
Permissions: Verify that all necessary permissions for Apple Health are enabled. Failure to do so may result in syncing issues.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any syncing issues, please follow these steps:
Check Permissions: Make sure all required permissions are granted to Apple Health.
Data Confirmation: Ensure that your activity data is recorded and updated in Apple Health.
